Black soap ( mud ) has been used for centuries in Africa to heal skin, reduce inflammation, prevent aging and any signs of skin abnormalities. Most soap making involves the use of LYE, a strongly alkaline solution, especially of potassium hydroxide, used for washing or cleansing. Lye therefore takes most of the benefits away from the actual star ingredient. We have taken the time to bring you African Black Soap in a more natural form without the harmful chemicals so that you may get the products full potential.
